This was made possible by the extensive revision of many engine components such as inter alia Cylinder head, pistons, water pump, turbocharger, modified injectors and the electronic control unit. These measures ensured not only improves performance by up to 25 percent, but it also led to an improvement of the articulation index (AI) by 10 percent. A thicker windshield and additional insulation materials contributed to the optimization of the noise levels.
In the new model year, now all models have an active closed diesel particulate filter system. A new five-speed automatic transmission provides seamless shift points and even smoother and more fuel-efficient.
